The Tests conducted by the Chinese navy to analyse the multi functional properties of domestically produced coatings.

　　In order to identify the most efficient and cost effective surface vessel coating system, in 1997 The Chinese navy chose several leading domestic coating brands and carried out Laboratory and field tests for four years. The tests were completed in May 2001. The main test results from the formal report are set out in the table below:

Analysis of the Coating for the Vessels
