Wet
Surface Technology
When most anti-corrosive
paints are applied to wet steel or other metal surfaces, water is
trapped between the metal and the paint, thereby preventing the
paint from bonding to the metal surface and causing the metal surface
to continue to rust and accumulate corrosive lose particles. In
addition when temperatures change, the trapped water expands and
contracts as well as vaporizing, causing physical damage to the
paint coating, eventually causing the coating to chalk. Therefore,
dampness is a big hidden problem. Most coatings require the working
surface to be dry and the coating to be applied when humidity is
not too high. BW 9300 coatings on other hand, having a special technical
advantage in that when it is applied to a wet surface, it bonds
instantly to the metal surface and squeezes the water out. Any trapped
water eventually evaporates by the means of molecule movement to
the coating surface provided that any surface water is moving and
the coating is not submerged in still water.

Build
in Rust Converting Technology
¡¡¡¡BW
9300 coatings use a direct converting and chelate mechanism and
do not rely on an added transforming agent or stabilizers. The technology
uses a modified polymer, which reacts with the base metal and the
rust, forming a composite layer, which is created by the polymer,
the fillings, the converted rust particles and metal molecules.
It provides a multi isolation layer to the base metal. When the
base metal is chelated with this protection layer it forms a "Total
isolation", thereby eliminating the iron exchange movement
between the metal and the coating layer. The high density and stability
and good insulation of the coating layer effectively blocks the
irons from going through the layer, and as a consequence prevents
any electrochemical reaction from outside. With the corrosive micro-current
being reduced to virtually zero, the coating layer is thus able
to provide super anti-corrosive, long lasting protection. In addition,
as long as the polymer is there, it can continuously convert any
possible newly formed rust and stablize it. Hence total protection
is achieved through use of a better bonding, super anti corrosive
coating.
Another added benefit
of QUNLY BW9300 is that because the paint does not rely on an added
agent for its chelation to the base metal, it leaves greater freedom
for colouring and special function fillings.
